Star Trek and reading difficulties

So I saw the new Star Trek for the second time yesterday, still loved it. Came home ready to read some slash. There is quite a bit already here and on LJ so YAY! Read a couple but I have a real problem picturing the new faces of Kirk and Spock. I keep seeing Shatner and Nimoy in my minds eye, not what I want...
